Hey!
LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF
As a Licensed Therapist (LPC) I am committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, substance abuse, trauma, and pain. Accurate collaborative, relational, behavioral, attachment, Gestalt, and humanistic therapeutic interventions will provide a safe and supportive space to explore these complex issues within the therapeutic space. My passion is to hold therapeutic relationships in an empathetic and inviting nature and provide a secure place to explore difficulties and wins so you can better understand your journey and gain deeper awareness.
I believe in genuinely meeting you where you are and allowing your process to be yours. For too long, we have seen poor therapy played out on TV and felt and witnessed a more stoic and non-communicative form of the therapeutic process, which has kept stigmas rampant and people out of therapy. My goal is to improve, support, challenge, and provide a place of exploration and growth in our sessions. By providing evidence-based practices, I will be introducing you to new skills and an enhanced sense of self, with empathy and sometimes humor! Humor and laughter belong in therapy and provide a heightened sense of authenticity and rapport. A unique, more modern therapeutic approach breaks down the hierarchical and outdated concept of "the all-knowing therapist." I don't know it all; you do! I am honored to meet you on your journey toward recovery, truth, honesty, and emotional growth.
Connecting to your truth, even as difficult as that is, choosing to better your life, walking the hard road, and being vulnerable is arduous. What if you can achieve and connect to the very life you have wanted, and what if you can achieve the awareness and self-love you deserve? Start now. You are worthy of what you want and desire. Let's put you back in the driver's seat. I am honored to meet you on your journey toward recovery, truth, honesty, and emotional growth.
how it starts
What is therapy?
Therapy, also known as psychotherapy or counseling, is a form of treatment aimed at relieving emotional distress, substance use disorders, trauma, and mental health issues. Therapy involves structured sessions between a psychotherapist and a client. During these sessions, individuals, couples, and families collaboratively examine life choices, gain insight into difficulties, and work toward positive change. Therapy aims to support, empathize, and hold space for emotional growth, well-being, and self-discovery.

facts about therapy!
We often associate therapy with crises, but by addressing significant areas of your life, relationships, emotional reactions, and maladaptive patterns, you can proactively enhance your well-being. You do not need to be in crisis to gain awareness.

Seeking therapy doesn’t mean you are “mentally ill”; it's a sign of resourcefulness. Anyone and everyone can benefit from therapy.
03.
Seeking therapy is an act of courage and humility. It takes strength to reach out for help and lean into the vulnerability of your own truth and hurt.
